The Nursing Program mission is to provide a successful path to higher-level education for Registered Nurses. As a provider of higher education, we strive to create an environment in which students are encouraged to grow personally and professionally through experiences and to foster and promote a commitment to life-long learning. Our coursework is designed to guide students to think independently and to improve their problem-solving abilities. The program fosters the growth of critical thinking, essential for the role of the Registered Nurse.  We are committed to fostering an environment where students are prepared to be productive and successful contributors to the profession and the communities they serve. Through didactic and experiential learning the program strives to foster the growth of the practice of the professional Registered Nurse.

Students will learn how to optimize administrative functions within organizations such as clinics, hospitals, and doctors’ offices. Those pursuing managerial positions require at least a bachelor’s degree in today’s competitive market. Students will acquiring leadership, problem-solving, and technical skills employers are in search of. The job outlook for medical and health services managers remains above average, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
