The Nursing Program mission is to provide a successful path to higher-level education for Registered Nurses. As a provider of higher education, we strive to create an environment in which students are encouraged to grow personally and professionally through experiences and to foster and promote a commitment to life-long learning. Our coursework is designed to guide students to think independently and to improve their problem-solving abilities. The program fosters the growth of critical thinking, essential for the role of the Registered Nurse.  We are committed to fostering an environment where students are prepared to be productive and successful contributors to the profession and the communities they serve. Through didactic and experiential learning the program strives to foster the growth of the practice of the professional Registered Nurse.

  • Utilize critical thinking to synthesize knowledge derived from nursing, natural and behavioral sciences, humanities, and arts in the practice of professional nursing.
