Braxton College is committed to upholding sound business practices that align with the core principles and values of the surrounding communities. In collaboration with its institutional advisory board, the administration recognizes the college’s vital role in supporting both the economic development and social well-being of the tri-county region it serves. Through strategic partnerships and responsible stewardship, Braxton College strives to be a positive force in the community’s continued growth and prosperity.

Braxton's Mission

Braxton College was established in the State of Florida in response to a growing need for private, specialized training in Emergency Medical Services, particularly for Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) and Paramedics. Founded by a leadership team with over 75 years of combined industry experience, the college benefits from ownership that is actively engaged in its day-to-day operations and deeply passionate about EMS education.

What began as a focused initiative to support the emergency medical field has expanded over time into a diverse portfolio of academic offerings, including associate and bachelor’s degree programs. This growth reflects Braxton College’s enduring commitment to student success and community service.

The college’s philosophy has remained consistent over the years: to meet the evolving needs of both students and the community by delivering high-quality, affordable education. The Board of Directors plays a hands-on role in this mission, maintaining involvement in statewide committees related to emergency healthcare and education. As active professionals still working in the field, the Board ensures that the curriculum remains current, relevant, and aligned with industry standards.
